Black Males are in crisis. The suffrage is intergenerational. Fathers, sons, uncles, nephews, cousins, etc. are all in some sort of pain. A pain that has shut him out from experiencing the world in and outside of himself with untainted freedom. A pain that has roughly distanced his relationship with nature so that he is confronted with the challenge to nurture affectionately and effectively. We recognize the pain in these ways: mental instability, emotional distress, spiritual depression, financial captivity, powerlessness disguised as rage. . . it has to go.
Our intention is to create a system of activities that directly increases their natural vibration, that they may recognize and own their power to self-discover.
“Aum” is said to be the Original sound of the Universe +“Kaala” which means Black in the Hindi language. These two energies were brought together to create AumKaala, our definition as the Original vibration of Black!

Mentoring
Invite us to your community, where the young men will be lead to participate in a weekly creative exploration program. Using meditation, spoken word activities, and a creative blend of different dance and movement styles, these weekly classes are designed to align and focus thoughts, harness creativity, increase courage and physical endurance, and demonstrate pride in new awareness of self.
