Truth Be Told, Black History is…

"Truth Be Told, Black history is"....inspires the audience to expand their idea of the black experience: couragesously exploring what it is, what it ain’t, and what it should be… now.

When one thinks about Black History, surely we can call upon an exemplary list of dynamic people, and events that changed society and the world in a number of ways. Yet, once those items have been covered, where else can we focus our attention, and what else can we discover? Truth be told, Black History is... explores the idea that the black experience is much deeper than we have allowed ourselves to imagine, and that the time to uncover the truth of its fullness is upon us. During this exploratory process we shall use what we know to uncover what we missed in an attempt to bring it back to the essence and Truth of who we really are.
